Branch Manager - Wallace, NC

SUMMARY:
The BranchManager exercises total executive and administrative control over the functionsof the branch. This includes ensuringthat all sales and operational programs, policies, procedures are implementedand followed.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Responsiblefor the expansion of core branch deposits.
Responsiblefor development of a branch marketing plan to accomplish this expansion.
Callson existing and prospective clients to seek on-site opportunities to developnew core account opportunities.
Workin partnership with the commercial lending area to expand existing businessrelationships and develop new businesses. Establish total business relationship, including core checking accounts.
Developan ongoing sales culture within the branch and ensure branch staff implementand follow established sales protocols.
Ensurebranch personnel implement and follow all operational guidelines.
Maintainsprescribed security controls to protect the facility against criminal andfraudulent operations and unnecessary risk or exposure. This includes following all operationalcontrols to ensure the branch is running in a safe and sound manner.
Ensureadditional training (sales, service, operations, compliance, etc.) are providedfor branch staff not adhering to company objectives in these areas.
Ensuresuperior customer service is performed on a daily basis and Branch Shops areconsistently superior to base line objectives.
Representsthe company in the community by joining and being actively involved incommunity groups and organizations. Thisincludes taking a leadership role, when appropriate in such organization.
Exercisesthe authority of a manager concerning scheduling, staffing, performanceappraisals, salary recommendations, and termination recommendations.
Satisfactoryand timely completion of all required regulatory training.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor'sdegree with 3 years of branch management banking experience.
In-depthknowledge of retail lending products, policies and procedures, retail bankdeposit, non-retail products and branch operations.
Abilityto influence, motivate and coach others.
Abilityto handle confidential and proprietary information.
Possessa good working knowledge of all regulatory requirements pertaining to the jobfunction, including, but not limited to BSA/AML, the U.S. Patriot Act, andPrivacy laws.
Excellentoral and written communication skills.
Abilityto work with a computer and effectively use standard office equipment.
Maintaina courteous and professional demeanor.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
